Last week we read a book about butterflies. The book discussed the life cycle and each of the four stages that it must go through from the egg to the adult butterfly. We then decorated paper butterflies and attached two of them together with a ribbon. We tied an empty spool to one end of the ribbon to make it easier to "fly." As soon as they got out the door, they ran, and ran, and ran......paper butterflies trailing in the breeze. :)
