I was excited to set up this Montessori/Waldorf inspired washboard activity. The children love when they are able to explore and use different types of materials. They were so proud of themselves when they were able to wash and hang the laundry independently. This activity helped them work on their motor skills and eye hand coordination, as well as, let them take control of their environment and do "it" themselves. It was fun to observe them. Sorry that the pictures did not turn out that great, I don't know if I accidentally changed a setting on my camera or what. :)
it is so great that you taught them this. they can wash their own clothes now! hah
ReplyDeleteLOL!! They loved it. Ezra was on a roll and decided to wash the slide and many other things after he had finished the laundry. :)
