Muffin tin Monday is a new idea that we are trying. We will be eating lunch out of muffin tins on Mondays. My hope is to get creative and have themes and have meals that can coordinate with books we are reading, etc. In this picture we have cheese quesadillas, corn, strawberries, a strawberry moo tube (yogurt), and milk.Lunch is a time that I ask the children about their weekends or the night before. Some of today's conversations were:
Maggie said that she went on a walk with her mom, that she got to ride her bike, and that her sister fell and hurt her head. Ezra and Eliott had a very busy weekend, but said that their favorite activity was getting to go to the blue park. I heard Kelton got to wash a car with his grandpa this weekend, so we asked him about it and he got very excited. Too cute. :)
Muffin tin Monday-I love it! I also find it very interesting to hear Ezra and Eliott's favorite weekend activity. It's fun to know what sticks out most in their mind.
